spark plug..which is better?ptchzz 11-14-2003, 10:17 AM I was wondering if anyone knows what the difference between 9mm and 10mm wires are? Is one really better than the other? Also, has anyone had bad luck with Bosch plugs in their Honda? I had Bosch Platinums in my 89 Accord LX-i and they were terrible. I now have a 94 Accord EX with the original factory plugs in it. Any suggestions on what kind I should get? I am hoping to get my cold air intake put in this Thanksgiving, but want to replace the plugs while I am under the hood. Its getting cold up here in Rochester. -Aaron HONDA_99 11-14-2003, 12:36 PM stay away from Bosch. and stay away from platinum spark plugs as well, IMO they are waste of money. Platinum does not conduct electricity as good as copper or irridium, but priced the highest, only good part about them they last for long time. if you're on limited budget, you should get NGK V-Power (copper spark plugs) for $8 in local auto store. but if you got $40-$45 to spend i recomend Denso IK16 (irridium), you can buy them on ebay. ptchzz 11-14-2003, 01:46 PM Yeah I have learned the hard way to stay away from Bosch and platinum plugs. But I have never heard of Denso IK16 plugs. What is the difference between NGK V-Power and Denso IK16 plugs? My car is not modified for racing or anything real serious so I would not want to buy anything that is designed for high performance engines.
