I've never bet cars or money, just race for the fun of it. It's too serious otherwise...

Well only time I was gunna race a guy from cali in his honda si, with my spyder at the illegals for $300. We both looked at each others engines and he said he didnt want to run( beause he didnt think I was telling the truth about my mods. So he raced a primered gsx with a stock looking engine. Well he lost by 3 bus lenghts and went back to cali $300 short. By the way that gsx raced all night beating a m3, My boys evo8, a camaro super sport and a turbo b16 crx. I had to ask what his secret was. He was running a t28 turbo at 22 psi. The turbo looks EXACTLY like my T-tosmall. I coulda never guessed with that turbo and only fuel mods he was taking names/money.

I would never race for a car way too serious. Money only what I can afford to lose, if they don't wanna pay up I let it go cause it's not worth the mess.

have lost $50 before, but nothing more.

was jus a for fun race w/ a little "insentive" to it.

Well I raced a stock sunfire Gt once, and I won a ticket for the movies....lol...those have been my gains.

haven't won anything but peer approvial. here in hickville i raced my 93 civic against a 89 accord in the high school parking lot. and ppl seen it go down and cuz i won (huge kill hu... lol) I'm famed as a racer now in town with a fast car. lol yah this town sucks and all the cars are ricers, but oh well its still fun being "cool"

Probably doesn't count but I raced my friends ragged out Chevy 2500 in the Max and won $2,000 ... I tried to tell him but nooooo :rolleyes: Oh well my gain :icon16:

$1000 dollars almost my pocket from a supercharged 5.0..... Never will I race for money again I won but only by a bumper. Way to scary to think that I could of lost that money that night. He paid up and I gave it back. It's all about fun... Taking a car that you have put alot of work in and enjoying the payout of watching the loser in the rearview mirror.

I agree, only reason I took the money was because I know he has a lot more and he made such a big deal and I tried telling him for weeks, but he wouldn't shut up... oh well, I had some fun on that money :iceslolan

I raced this girl I knew for a three-way with one of her cute friends in my old 88 civic hatch. Spanked her tempo bad (she thought her car was the shit). If I lost, I would have owed her $300. I didn't get it though, she chickened out :disappoin :crying: , although I did get to watch them make out for a bit :ylsuper: :naughty: Not a race I was willing to lose.....

And last friday, I raced a buddy and his 95 civic EX for a case of Red Bull. I did beat him, but only because he got a really bad launch. Nobody told him you DON'T launch from 7K RPMs. Had he gotten a good launch, it probably would have been a better race.

My best was $100 from this guy in my neighborhood. It was a stock SVX against a breathed on 2000 V6 Accord. That win was a nail-biter :iceslolan . I don't go for money anymore. It seems that when illegal activities such as street racing is PLANNED, Murphy's Law comes into full effect and something definitely WILL go wrong :banghead: . That's just my logic.

hey there, newbie here. just wanted to try out posting. well, never raced before...street or track. sure would love to try it out though...in my bone stock car (i know id loose anyways). :icon16:

the best thing i won was a 91 crx si with no front windshield only 1 seat and had no tail lights any ways now its in good condition and its just a daily driver althought it is pretty fast but not as fast as my other to turbocharged monsters and the worst thing would have to be racing my freinds 3000gt vr-4(500+hp) i lost 200bux it was pretty fun though

I this one time raced I won myself a night in the city jail, and impound fees for my car. LOL!!! not shitin ya either..

i won $50 in my 92 escort gt from a kid driving a 5th gen civic dx...i loved that gt...16 flats all day long baby...take it to the house!!!!
