Stopping dead
DrivingInToronto 11-07-2003, 09:36 AM Yesterday I went out for a drive and my oldsmobile just stopped dead in the road, I was able to get it started again drove a few seconds and it died again, got it started (this time took some time to work) and drove home problem free. When I drive the car it is sounding quiet, almost calming... and it feels like it coasting along rather then driving along... I dunno if this is my imagination and i am now looking to reason the problem out or if this has anything to do with problem. I just want tok now if this problem can be fixed myself or if i have to pay a large mechanics bill :S THANX! Ferenbaugh 11-12-2003, 12:34 AM WOW.... Never had that problem. I have owned my Olds 98 for about 4 years now. Keep us posted :) heavytruckray 11-17-2003, 04:59 AM My car did the same thing! Check your vacuum lines for one that is deteriorated and collapses when the engine is running. Please let me know! ray AutomotiveHelper.com, Copyright ©2013
