I need to replace spark plugs in my 2000 Sierra, 5.3L. Any tips on how to make this task a bit easier? I am certain that I can do it with ease, but figured I would post this question.

I recently changed mine and it was very easy. Had no problems at all.
you can get to all of them with a deep socket and short extension.

Your engine is equipped with aluminum heads.
When changing the plugs, make sure the engine is cold and use an anti-seize compound on the threads.
If you don't replace the wires, put a little dab of Dielectric grease inside the boots..this will prevent them from sticking to the plug
