I had far more serious problems with my S class then you did. But, what makes you think BMW's are any better? My 530i cought on fire the second day I had it! That was just the first of 21 MAJOR items on the problem list. BMW treated me like crap. If you think the plug ugly 745Li is so good, visit a dealer and look around the back lot. Chances are you will find several licensed cars there. They belong to 745Li owners who refuse to pick them up. I checked two dealers. One has 6 and the other 14! BMW is and has always been highly overated.
