Heated drivers seat stopped working 2001 Jetta poohna 11-05-2003, 11:10 PM
2 years 4 months--and allot of trouble -now my seat will not work --the passenger seat still works--are their 2 fuses for the seats or one?- I can only find one for the seats HeirMuench 11-09-2003, 08:25 AM Most of the time this is caused by a broken circuit in the seat bottom heated seat circuit. you havve to unplug the heated seat from under the seat and run a resistance test. If there is an open circuit, you need to replace the heat element, if it is not open, usually the switch is bad. poohna 11-10-2003, 02:03 AM 2 years 4 months--and allot of trouble -now my seat will not work --the passenger seat still works--are their 2 fuses for the seats or one?- I can only find one for the seats thank you for the help---I had thought about doing the switch testing--but did not think about how to do it. butterball 11-17-2005, 01:47 PM Most of the time this is caused by a broken circuit in the seat bottom heated seat circuit. you havve to unplug the heated seat from under the seat and run a resistance test.
