re-upholstery91HBSi 12-09-2001, 10:46 PM I need to get an estimate on how much it would cost to get my seats recovered in a different color and the top half of my door panels re-vinyled. Thanx buh_buh 12-09-2001, 10:53 PM I was going to do that, and it would've cost me about $1200 CDN. But for a more accurate price, you should just go to your local reupholstry place and ask them for an estimate. kicker1_solo 12-11-2001, 05:46 PM do it yourself, but do it in vinyl http://teamgroundzero.net/doityourself.asp?id=409 91HBSi 12-12-2001, 12:47 AM I was thinking about it, but I don't want vinyl because it is always humid down here and I would stick to it. kicker1_solo 12-12-2001, 06:30 PM yeah, I guess you're right. Sticky when it's hot and very cold when it's cold. :) xivera 12-13-2001, 02:03 AM Originally posted by 91HBSi I was thinking about it, but I don't want vinyl because it is always humid down here and I would stick to it. You could always choose different materials... like neoprene (wetsuit material but, I don't know where to get that) or luck out and find some microfiber (I actually found some microsuede... feels real nice!) :) 91HBSi 12-13-2001, 04:16 PM yeah, neoprene would be cool. I like the way it feels, and it holds up really well. I think I am just going to leave the interior how it is for now though. I will eventaully change it, because I really don't like the 4th gen civic interior. It is cheap looking. I don't think I am going to change the seats though, I like them; just not the rest of the interior. lkailburn 08-22-2003, 11:34 PM where could one buy that microfiber, neoprene, or microsuede? i will be redoing my seats with vinyl this spring, but i don't have a/c and i know vinyl get hot in the summer. tell me more about these materials please thanks luke T-Mo 08-25-2003, 02:23 AM WHOAAA!!
