I've taken out for short test drives a 325ci and a 330ci and can't make up my mind quite which one to choose. The first was the 330ci which seemed slightly gutsier but I found it tricky to get off the line smoothly. The 325ci was smoother but I had little time to accurately assess the comparative performance. As far as kit is concerned my budget allows a basic 330ci or a 325ci with leather etc, etc.
Can anyone help?

Karl, I hd the same feeling when I test frove both the 325 Ci and 33Ci.

Sure the 330 was much more powerful and faster from 0 - 60, but it was also louder...much louder then the 325Ci..Not only was the engine or the exhaus louder, I also heard a wushing sound in the front ride side of the car, like air intake, which I did not hear on the 325Ci.

I saved over $5K and bought a loaded 2002, 325Ci with all but the Sports Package and zeon lights....It shoud be here in about 4 weeks.

Unless you plan on racing, the 325Ci should do just FINE for you or anyone who else.

the 330 is louder but in a good way. i just love the sound of the 330.
