how to fix broken and missing door glass guide clips that run inside door glass run strippings on 92 s-10 ? what causes this to happen ?

glass you have to hold back towards rear of door/truck to keep from falling down and off track, little black plastic guide clip thingies broken and gone now, use hole through door glass near top and at rear of glass

whats the fix here ?

fastr68, somtimes they just break. Good ole plastic! Buy the new guide clips (at a dealer) for about a buck apiece. Wrap it around the glass (through the hole) and squeeze untill it snaps together. You may need pliers, don't be afraid to squeeze hard, the glass will not break. Now push the glass into the channel.

they will jut pop right into the channel after snapping onto the glass ?
