I am shopping for a 94-96 Integra and I was wondering what model I should get an ls or gs-r. I have been looking weeks to try and find a gs-r model but they are pretty hard to find. I know pretty much nothing about integra's except that the gs-r has 30 more hp than the gs, ls, and rs. My question to everyone is, should I continue to spend weeks searching for a gs-r or just opt for the ls? Any help would be appreciated.

they are all good cars, depends what u are planning to do with them. if your plan to leave them stock go with the gsr since everthing is much better. if you want to modify theres two routes, all motor and f/i. though both can go either route, the ls is more suitable for boosting due to its lower comp. the gsr can also be boosted just not as high, unless ur considering of upgrade the internals.

Well I would modify it but since I don't have any hookups it would probably cost me more to modify the ls to get it as fast as the gs-r. It's just I have been looking for a couple weeks now and the only reasonably priced gs-r's I have found are either gone within a couple days or are 4 doors. I have just been trying to teach myself and reading the forums on the post to figure out what my best option would be. Your thoughts are appreciated though :-D

w/ i/h/e/test pipe, u can free up enough power to run w/ stock gsr's in the 1/4 mile.

u have to remember also, the gsr is better in the twisties (a bit), so if ur going auto-x, then it'd also be a better base.

if u have a limited budget, and aren't looking for boost, i'd agree w/ tran, and say go w/ the gsr. it simply takes less money to build it all motor.

however, for a bit more than simple bolt-ons (i/h/e), u could boost the b18b1 (ls motor), and u'd be MUCH faster than a gsr (stock).

up to u, really u can't go wrong either way, simply really depends on how well u can save money, and how serious u are at trying to build ur car up.
