DSM-Owner 10-26-2003, 01:34 AM remove the calipers and brake pads and it should slide off. Although on some models it is also held by 2 screws that you will have to remove in order to take them off :smokin: Talon007 10-26-2003, 01:40 AM You have to remove the caliper mounting bracket as well. Your lucky that you dont have a 1G, they are always a bitch to get off, always rusted on. Spectrum 10-26-2003, 01:44 AM Prybars work wonders. Its like ducttape, only for deattaching things. True that, My caliper mounting bolts were so rusted on that even my air gun would not get it off.... After about 5 tries at it with the air wrench it finally budged. Just spray it with some thread lock after reinstalling it and it wont get rusted on like that :smokin: AmericanEagle 10-26-2003, 04:39 AM My rotor cracked in two before it came off. Love the Powerstop rotor Axis pad combo for my ride. Anyone else tried this setup? I have come down hard from 100mph with little fade Talon007 10-26-2003, 04:53 PM I hope you dont get any fade from one hard stop. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
