Have a 2003 echo 4 dr with optional 15" rims. Looking to replace the tires with something bigger but due to costs need to fit the 15" rims that came with the car. Looking at 205/55-15 tires...any opinion about whether they fit the rims and do not rub. This size is very close in rolling distance with the 185/60-15 tires. Think it will fit the rims? ...and not rub? Thanks for the help. twm

they have recommended tire sizes for different rim sizes.

They will fit but your speedometer will be off :)

I have a 2000 Echo with 15X7 Wheels and 205/50R15 Dunlop Sport A2 tires. There is no rubbing what so ever.

Actually the wheels are 15X6.5, sorry for the goof. :lol:
