No brake lamps, blinkers

Hello,
My brake lights and blinkers went out recently. The parking, backup and hazard lights seem to work fine so it doesn't look like a fuse problem. They're on a different fuse too so ... I don't think that is it. I could be wrong. The brake lights were burnt out so I replaced them. Now the back lights turn on when the car is on but still no brakes.

1989 Chevy Corsica. Tons of miles.

Thanks!

I have frequently seen situations where the bulbs, when replaced, fit incorrectly in the sockets, allowing the incorrect, or both filaments to burn at the wrong time, either blowing fuses, or making the lights appear to work incorrectly. I would try simply removing and examining the bulbs, making sure that when installed, the tabs on the bulb base properly aligned with the socket. Then, if necessary, replace the fuse. Ray

Ray is right, I had a bulb in wrong once. Also, check the side marker lights. They come on with the parking lights, They get wicked corrosion sometimes and can short out.
