Iv just installed a sony cd player into my 1993 camry (am so proud of myself) and have everything up and running. EXCEPT everytime the motor is turned off and on again, the cd spits out and all programmed radio channells are lost. Is there some special wire i have forgotten to connect?

I have the same exact problem. Sorry I can't help.

One of the power wires from the unit should be connected to a wire from the car that is always hot.(that is it shows 12 volts even when the ignition is off).On your car it is a white wire/red stripe from the ignition.See the CD players manual to find the proper wire there to hook up.
