I've been to the bay area a few times for some huge street racing gatherings (like 300+ people). But they don't happen very often out there. There's also some huge gatherings in Stockton, but it's too far of a drive to go out there every weekend, so we just have our little 30-50 or so people at the races here in Sac. I remember the last time the bay area built up (with the street racers in excess of 300 or so people), and the cops surrounded them and gave out hundreds of tickets, and towed away like 50 cars or something like that. :(

I'm from Sonora, 209. It's about 3 hours east of the bay and 2 2/2 hours southeast of Sacramento. It's about 45 miles from Modesto. My town sucks, but I'd rather be there instead of in Japan. I'm stationed here, so it's not like I'm on vacation.

Well, it's a kind of hard spoiler to explain. Actually, it's like the spoilers on the black civics on fast and furious kinda. One dead giveaway is that if you ever see my car parked or something, I have a model of Accord/honda that I'm sure not too many people have. Take a look on the back of the car where it normally has the EX/LX and so on. :) I'm not gonna share here because I KNOW it will be imitated too damn much!

Ive got a black CRX, it doesnt have much done to it right now though. it in my garage totally gutted. It was stolen like a month ago and they stripped all my aftermarket stuff. they also left the sunroof open and so the inside was flooded. so insurance totalled the car and i bought it back for 150 bucks. i got about 4,000 for it. it all works out ok. now im putting in a new interior with momo racing seats. im trying to decide whether i wanna get a wings west body kit and rims. or save up for another month and drop a GSR engine in there. my plan is to make my car fast, not pretty.

When you're asking about interior work, if you were wanting to wrap your rear seats, there is a guy up here that does an awesome job...he's done a few of my buddie's cars, and it looks sweet. He'll put emblems on them and stuff if you like--very professional

About having the engine done, I know the best guy!! He has a shop out in Rancho Cordova on Sunrise and all he does is engine swaps and custom turbos. He's the one in charge of my swap and turbo. His cars are off the hook! Let me know exactly what you want and I'll check for you! Maybe if we buy our engines together I can get them even cheaper!! (Anyone else reading this wanting an engine, speak up!)

I mainly get stuff through CSI and motorsport dynamics. Motorsport are kinda assholes though, they don't really give ya do much of a discount though, but anything is better than nothing :)

Street Toyz is the closest one to us (obviously 'cause it's here in Rocklin), but I've never really bought anything big from there even though my buddy works there. Redline's new store is pretty cool...it's two stories, but it's off of bradshaw now. They're cool because they have so much stuff in stock right there. Like full body kits for most applications, wings, exhausts, etc., and it's all right there in stock. At their old store you can buy used stuff (I guess they have like a junkyard out back--I was there 3 days ago, and it's kinda cool), where you can get used parts for cheaper that are in good condition, and they have good prices/deals. That's out off of Sunrise by White Rock Rd. Eclipse Performance (off of Greenback&Auburn) does awesome tinting, and I know a guy there too. RCJ is now out of business (isn't that motorsport dynamics now?), and he ripped people off so it's good ridence I guess. Rick owes my buddy like $300 still. Everyone has their own opinion about all of the shops though--I've heard both good and bad things about all of the stores, so I guess it's just the type of thing you have to go and experience for yourself. :rolleyes:

Anyways, I'm still trying to find the # for that guy that does the interiors...I'll try to get it asap. :)

Rick was the owner of RCJ Motorsports...they're gone now, and replaced by someone else in the same building. The old redline is in the process of moving to the new one, so no, there's not as much stuff there. I mean, you can still go there, but it's really crowded because all of the stuff is like all over the floor and stuff. :rolleyes: Still cool though :)

I asked him today and he wants to know if you care if it's smoggable or not?? He said it's about a $1K difference. I don't know why, but it is. So let me know :)

hey, do you guys ever race out at athens? about a week a go some of my buddies were out there and two of em got into an accident. kinda crazy cuz one of em was pretty tricked out. i heard he sold what was left of it for $800.

I've been going out to the races for like the past 2 years up here (hey, I'm only 19 ;) ). I dunno, I know it's dangerous and stuff--I've had friends wreck their cars too, but I still just like the rush--especially when the cops come! ;) I haven't gotten a ticket for being at the races yet (knock on wood)...but I've been chased by cops countless times--even the copters they get out there sometimes! lol ;)
I don't really go off of Athens...lately we've been racing off of Florin&Perkins, but there was supposed to be a big bust last weekend (plus, my baby was in an accident a few weekends ago, so she's not as pretty to take out ;) ), so I didn't go then. We raced off of White Rock a lot last year, but ever since my buddy wrecked his '01 Stang GT, we haven't been there in a while. Industrial is another place we race at, but lately it's been a lot of domestics instead of imports.
I know how it is when friends wreck cars though... :( One of my friends totalled his civic a few months ago (looked EXACTLY like the black ones on F&F), but he ended up with a new Si, and then last weekend, another one of my friends rolled his Integra off of Roseville Parkway and completely totalled it. :( It was crazy, he's lucky he lived. :(
I hope I never get in a wreck like that...my first accident was a week and a half ago, and I can still drive my baby without it looking too bad. I can't imagine what it would be like to lose your car all together.

Damn, here in Pasadena, all the cops are in the latest Crown Vics, yet the K-9 units are still driving the mid 90's Caprices... :confused: So odd... But the motor units (motorcycle cops) are now rolling Harleys, and they are test riding a NEW experimental Honda police cycle. It looks SO sweet, it's totally futuristic looking, and is very quiet, yet high reving like the CHP BMW cycles. :cool:

Ok, here's how you get there. You're going down Sunrise and you past the Costco on your left and the Carls JR. on your right. Then the first left you can make is 'Monier Circle'. Go in there and the street wraps around to the right. Go around the first bend and then he's all the way at then end of the straightaway on the right hand side. The address is 3324 Monier Circle. Or, instead of taking the first left on Sunrise, just take the second left (Monier Circle again) and he's the first driveway you come to around the bend. The place is called Midnight Performance and his # is 852-6887. His name is Warren, he owns the place. So has anyone seen the news in the past few days? I guess that they did a story of the street racing out at Florin and Perkins. My buddy called me and said that when they were showing video of the cars there, mine was on it!!! :eek: :D
But I thought it was interesting, because they were saying that there's only 4 cops that patrol that area at any given time, and they have to travel in pairs, so if any one gets a call, that just leaves 2 cops to come and 'scare' us away, and if they're both on calls, that's why we've been able to race for so many hours w/o being bothered. They were just talking about how the cops can try and try to stop the racing, but they just don't realistically think they can. Like they think it's a lost cause themselves.
I guess that explains why whenever the cops bust us, it's only 1 or 2. That's why I like racing out there. :)

It's out in Sacramento. There's races there pretty much every weekend that it's not raining. I've been going to the races out there for like 3 years. That's where most people go. We race in between a bunch of wharehouse-style buildings. It's like a block off of the main road, shaped like a square. We've filled up all of the streets and parking lots with cars before, and the racers just line em up all night long. It's been BIG up there lately.

As far as that In-N-Out goes, you'll see me there once a week for lunch but I won't be there in my car at night on the weekends. It's like running the gauntlet all the way up and down sunrise so I've cut down dramatically. That's a nice lookin grand am you got there. One of my friends used to work at Avis and he was driving one of the supercharged grand ams that they rent and we were sitting at the light about to punch it, and I was like "Oh shit, COP!!", light turned green and I was GONE!! No cop in sight!! HAHAHAHA, he was pissed. I knew i didn't stand a chance unless i cheated :D

Well I went out both Fri and Sat nights. What are the cops doing now?!? At In N Out, they had cones and ropes crossing off the rear and side parking lots!! There were 4 CHPs there and there was NO place to park. Friday night was pretty lame...the cops were patroling strong and I saw hella people get pulled over. Saturday was cooler, because there were a lot of cars and we were getting ready to cruise out to Florin Perkins, when it started to rain. :( I don't like going out there in the rain because stupid people like to mess around and I don't want to chance anything happening, so I decided to call it a night. <sigh>
So you didn't miss much... :rolleyes: I guess it's supposed to rain next weekend as well, so I don't think you'll miss all that much then either. :( :rolleyes:

Can't wait until the summer. There's a fair amount of cars out now, but as it gets warmer, there will start to be a lot of us back again, and the cops won't be able to do as much. :)

Yeah, IN-N-OUT is really cracking down. If it keeps up it'll probably just move to Krispy Kreme, lol.

Krispy Kreme always has the popos there, so we don't meet there. Last year they used to block that off just like they did In N Out. See, you know the K-Mart across the street from In N Out? We used to meet there a lot when the cops cracked down like this. There's a taco bell down Sunrise closer to the roseville side that a fair amount of people meet at, and at the Border's parking lot on Douglas Blvd.

I love going to the raceway. :D I went last weekend, but it sucks because since I'm working full time now I take night classes at Sierra, and I have a class from 6:30-9:30 on Wednesdays. :( So I'll be "sick" every now and then to go watch my friends race on the track. ;)

Trust me, EVERYONE is gonna know when this thing is done. I'm just trying to scavenge up the money to do the turbo at the same time. That's looking discouraging right now :( I'd be able to get it but the engine managment system is kinda the "pushing it even farther out of reach" item right now. I got lost bu ti really didnt get lost i just took the wrogn exit becaus emy friend was giving me directions ove ra cell phone damn ericsson piec eof shit. anyways when i found th eplave i sa whella cars. even a fucking Skyline, I sa wit and like 8 other cars jump on the free way, I then found out the cops broke it up. Are the races pretty cool out in Oakland? I've heard that the Bay area and the Stockton area get pretty huge sometimes.
I've heard of around here getting up to 300 cars before...only happens every so often (most I've ever been with is just over 100 cars), usually happens later into the summer, but I've heard that Stockton and the Bay are huge like that all the time. :cool:

I went to the Millipidas Illegals once. It was nuts. There was well over 200 cars on one stretch of street. They all would line up and take off, there was a good 20 races or so before the cops showed up. When somebody yelled out "Cops," it was a stampede. I've never seen a place clear out so fast in my life, LOL.

Well that was my first night out there and from all the cars I saw and all the cops that were out I think its gonna be pretty exciting. my car is kinda slow right now I would add performance parts but I have no money, I owe the IRS money I owe my mechanic money and I owe may parents money, so it will be awhiel beofre I can add any upgrades, bu tI am getting my new suspension put in on friday, so I cant wait! later:)

Well even though we don't have hundreds and hundreds of cars out there racing, there's been plenty of times that we've been out racing for HOURS and HOURS. We've been out there lining everyone up until 3am before, without the cops even coming. :)

AllmotorLX: I'm no pro, but I can tell you that nitro isn't very healthy for your engine regardless of the setup. It will give you the most HP gains for what you pay, but I'd recommend getting some performance engine components instead, or at least before you add a nitro system. A good place to start is your flywheel or cam pulley/camshaft. For the N20 you also might want to check your compression and maybe even get some forged pistons so your engine will last a bit longer.

i wouldnt get nitrous until you have like lower compression pistons. also, im not for sure, but i think you would prolly need new rods and rings too. if i were you i would just get gears, pulleys and a racing cam.

Hey, btw, did anyone go out to the races last weekend??? Sunrise was PACKED!! We went to 3 different race spots-- Florin Perkins which was broken up when we got there, Elkhorn (by the airport), which only had like 3 cars, and Nationals (which got broken up by CHP like 5 minutes after we got there. :\ So the racing was kind of gay, but there were HELLA people out on Sunrise.
As long as the rain holds off, this weekend is supposed to be cracking as well. :)

The races are finally crackin again!! I went out last night, and there were HUNDREDS of people out!! There's this new race spot as well, and we went out there (it's off of Bell Rd in Sac), and we were racing out there for about 1/2 an hour when the cops came. There is even a 1/4 mile finish line spray painted on the street. lol
But after that got broken up, we all cruised out to Nationals, and I swear, there were SO MANY FREAKING PEOPLE!! It was SO going on last night. We were racing for HOURS. I finally left at 2:30am because I was tired, but there were hundreds of people still there as I left--and no cops.
So if anyone wants to see some races up here, it's finally going on again. :)

Pleasanton to be exact. though not a Honda/Acura owner, a good friend of mine has a 3.2 Cl typeS, and goes to the Club si meets out here, and I sometimes go with him. Also, I was at Import Autovibe saturday, filming video for a friends website. Anyone else attend? It was a smaller show (nothing compared to Hot Import Nights) but it was alright.

The streetracing scene out here has been suffering, as far as I know. I have gone out three times and not seen anything than a few cars running in groups looking for the pack, and now the police are cracking down even more! (Since the "sideshows" moved from Oakland to Fremont) If it is such a problem, why don't they open up some of that vacant tarmac at Moffett Field and let the cars run in peace?

OMG, okay, you guys know how lame the Rocklin cops are, giving little kids tickets for crossing the street and riding scooters w/o helmets and all, right? Well I got pulled over--for my wing being too big?!? WTF? It isn't even that big! I got pulled over driving down Rocklin Road at like 1am right by the railroad tracks going towards Springview. I didn't get a ticket or anything, I actually think the cop was surprised when he saw that I was a girl (get that a lot), and he started stuttering after he asked for my liscence/registration when I asked him what he pulled me over for. He was like, "um.....I think your spoiler is a bit much, can you see out your window?" I was like, "look! it's not like it's thick or anything, you can see right past it, I've seen MUCH bigger" I couldn't believe it. :mad: I mean, I guess it's alright--I ended up with a "just drive safely and watch your car because it's the #1 most stolen car" speech, but still...I think that was a sorry excuse to pull me over.

THREE years I've had it, I've been pulled over 10+ other times, nobody's ever said anything! I think it must be a new rocklin cop cuz I know most of em. But that's just ridiculous!

Yup, I found out all I need for a couple AA's (not that those are even important anymore) were 2 PE units. So I'm doing bowling right now at Rocklin Bowl and I'm doing scuba diving over the summer. It's kinda cool for bowling, it's Tues and Thurs at 12. So I come in to work for like two hours and then I'm GONE!!!!!!!!

lol That's too funny. Scuba diving would be a sweet class to take. There was this class over the summer I was going to take where we would get to go up to the Badlands in Montana and dig up some dinosaurs, but there's other classes I have to take for transferring to Sac State next Fall. :\ Oh well.
Have you taken any of the automotive classes there at Sierra? I did last year and it was so fun. That whole building is cool, it has everything you could need, and the garage has like 10 lifts in it too. :D

Not like this one is a big deal though, just a stupid fix it ticket. I had 2 of my guy friends in my car with me, and they were making me hella nervous because I didn't know what I did!! The popo was following me for like 4 blocks before he lit me up, and I was driving the speed limit, trying to keep my exhaust quiet, and not doing anything wrong. My buddies kept on saying, "he's gonna get you for your banner!" "your headlights are too bright!" "your exhaust is too loud!" "your car is too low!" "your white blinkers!" and going on and on....
He pulled me over, asked me for my whole liscence deal (btw, the dmv lost my renewed liscence in the mail, so I have an expired one as of last thursday :eek: ), but anyways, he went back to his car and was there for 20 FREAKING MINUTES. I've never waited that long in my LIFE for a cop to come back to me.
And you know what he ended up giving me a ticket for?
I don't have a liscence plate in the front. :rolleyes: I haven't had one there for the almost 2 years I've had my car, and they finally popped me for it. Kind of a stupid reason to waste 20 minutes and give someone a ticket over, but oh well, it's just $10.
He never mentioned that my lisence was expired though... :confused: Oh well, I'm not complaining. :)

hahaha, thats funny, cuz since my car was stolen and salvaged. the dmv took both my plates cuz i have to get new ones. I have been driving around for like a month with no plates at all. Ive driven by rocklin po's, roseville, sheriffs, CHP. nobody has even given me a second look.

yup, no plates at all. I have a little slip that the dmv gave me that i can show to a po. but its in my glove compartment. I go out all the time. fridays and saturdays.

I got a ticket for that on sunrise too! I was driving behind the cop minding my own business, he changes lanes, slows down, and gets behind me and pulls me over just for my plates!! I mean come on!!

Well coming up sunrise there's a left hand turn lane but you can't turn left, you can only flip a bitch, and there was a cop there, and as soon as I passed him, he flipped. :( Followed me through like 3 signals before he finally decided to light me up though, and for what?!? But aren't there cars now that don't even come with places for front plates? The only point of having one is for the red light runner catchers cameras.

Hey, do you have the street racers? I'm ordering my seats this next week and I hella want those ones I posted above but I think they will be too uncomfortable for daily driving. I love how they look with the bottom part hella bucket like but I don't know about sitting in them all the time. I sat in the street racers and those feel good but don't have the flash and look of the 1000 Lakes one:(

Im getting 17's I only wanted 16's, but i couldnt get em as cheap. I hope they arent too big. They Tenzo's and theyre graphite. I dont want anything flashy at all. My plan is for my car to be a sleeper. I like first steering wheel better too. dang, your decking your car out in all momo.

And about you sayin you want your car to be a sleeper, just to let you know that CRX's aren't usually considered sleepers too much anymore. Too many people are making those things too damn fast!!! Especially if it doesn't look flashy. If it was flashy looking I wouldn't expect too much out of it. But if you were to paint your car the championship white w/a carbon fiber hood and some little donut rims, no one would mess with you :)

I usually like spiders, but this one surprised me because it was the biggest spider ive seen in my house. Now I'm a bit glad that i got that goldfish instead of a tarantula.

Heck yeah, that's what I call a pet. I want a Siberian Husky, but I think it'd be mean to keep one here in cali since it's so warm most of the time. I have a cat though, and she acts like a dog. She follows everyone around (won't be by herself in a room, always has to be with people), and she jumps up on everyones lap, she'll wait at the door for us to get home, and she fetches balls and everything. :D

This ladys and gents, is known as the Devon Rex. Close relative to the Sphynx (aka Mr. Bigglesworth from Austin Powers). This isn't a picture of mine, but you get the general picture. These cats are great for people with allergies because they have very little dander (what most get the allergic reaction from). My kitty has a tortise shell coat, and her ears aren't quite as big. She was bred from purebreds (aka she cost us $800), but she's not show quality because her ears aren't big enough. :rolleyes:

I used to have one of those Chineese Water dragons. I hated feeding it because we had to give it pinkies (tiny baby mice), and it was sad how they screamed when the dragon caught it. :(

I just got one of those sonic care electric toothbrushes. Those things are damn fast and really cool! It seems all futuristic and stuff, the charger doesn't even have any electric plates or anything on it. I brushed my teeth twice already today because it was so fun to mess with :p.

It has the wrinkles from a pit bull, and the look and short snout and fur color of a rottie. But best feature of all, it's got one blue eye, and one brown eye! :eek: It's a trip and a half, but SO cute! :D
