injectors not workingLilith 10-16-2003, 12:28 AM hi i have a honda civic '94. it had the transmision (automatic) removed, repaired and put back. but now, the car wont work. the injectors arenīt delivering the fuel. we checked everything: fuel presure is ok. ECU is ok. we poured fuel directly into the combustion chamber and the motor worked. if you connect a light bulb tu the injectors' cables, itīs supposed to blink as they get signals to open and close to let the fuel pass. well, the bulb stayes ON the whole time - the injectors arenīt opening. theyīre not clogged either - when we sting any injector, it "spits" a lot of fuel. what can the problem be? as i said, the injectors seem not to get the order to open to let the fuel pass. jimmymc 10-16-2003, 09:56 AM I would look for something related to the transmission R&I...pinched/cut wire...loose connector..etc. jimmymc shotgun361 11-18-2003, 10:35 AM you have probally disconected the crank sensor when removing the trans.without a crank signal the computer doesnt know when to fire the injectors.if you have acess to a scan tool check for cranking rpms vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
