I'm still trying to decide what to make of this new design, it's very bold and out there, but is it a hit, or miss? These are for '96-'00 2dr Civics. www.autodynamic has them for $170 I believe. The are quite different for "typical" Altezza tails, that's for dang sure!

Maybe with a black backing or something it could look good, hard to tell without seeing them on a car but they're a bit shiny/silvery in that pic

Its a bit overboard but at night the red brake and parking lights would look like eyebrows. :)

Have you check the APC website at www.4apc.net . They have pictures of these different types of lights.

i think altezzas only look good on the toyota altezza
i dont think they look good on other cars.

these lights are bad. they dont look ugly or nice. but it may look good when its on the car.
its your choice. if you like them, then buy them.

I think the real question is; Since everybody appears to dislike altezzas, why are there so many on the road :confused:

I think everyone dislikes them because they got so trendy - personally at night, the ones down here seem more pink than red and that doesn't work in my palette

i dont know the carbon fiber ones are pretty cool, and as long as the keep different styles it wwont be as bad bcuz everyone wont have the same ones. plus the car color makes a diffrence also, besides i used to own a pair:finger:

Altezzas where only made for the Toyota Altezza (IS300). They look plain out stupid on any other car and are totally ricy!!!!:flipa:

wouldnt it be cool to see an altezza (the toyota) with regular red orange and clear tails? if i had an altezza id do it. everybodyd be like "look that altezzas got... uhh... regulars!"

Actually I got these lights like a month ago..

I honestly don't think they could be considered 'Altezza'-style tails.. because they look nothing like actual Altezza tails- just because they aren't 1 solid red and 1 solid clear line- I think these should have a diff name. (they're called 'elegante' on the box- I almost barfed when I saw that- that is so retarded...:)) .. Altezzas have round red lenses inside... these are so different... I personally love them... My only complaint is on the trunk portion, the reflectors are too small.. But I think they look fine...

Hello, Shanna. :) Which Altezza type tails do you have? The ones in the pic I posted, or the 1st or 3rd gen. style ones? It's alright you don't have pics of it, but would be cool to see if/when you do get any of how they look on your car. :)

I originally had the Gen 2 that everyone cls gen 3.. :) U know.. 1 big, 1 small circle on outer portion... back up light w red circle around it...

but I just got the ones that started this thread- the ones in the pic in the 1st post...

Because they were new...... and no one around here has them.. and it was the 1st time Id seen them on Ebay.. so I scooped them up.. My others had leaking probs anyway and the silver was peeling... Id already fixed one..(pain in the asssssss!!!!!) so I figured 'screw it' when I saw these...

That's not vain, that's just "out with the old, in with the new." :D But seriously, if your others gave you problems, then that's a perfectly fine excuse to replace them if something new or different comes around.
