This tut rocked! Its really good. I am a, for want of a better word, c**p artist. This however was A) the first time i managed a decent drawing without throwing a few previous attempts away and B) The ONLY piece of art ive done in my whole life that ive been truely proud of. Thanks.

how bout a tut on coloring in illustrator or PS or whatever software you use to color you drawings?

hey i did the tutorial. i got bored at school and drew some car off the top of my head. I didn't draw the rims, i know that I wouldn't get them right and I would mess up the whole car so I let a friend do it, unforunately he didn't grasp the concept of the "tooning" and made the wheels a little too normal. well, i needed a hand-drawn picture to represent summer so i {major deja-vu while typing this} threw in some palm trees and wrote some spanish sentences on it and turned the paper in for a spanish assignment... so if I ever get that back ill take a pic and show it :)

hey man keep the tuts coming. i love the cartoons. i'd love to see a tut on the different perspectives you can do with the cartoons. more of a 3D look ya know. i'm new here and i love everything i see. i'm going into automotive design next year at the art institute of of pittsburgh and i'm trying to get a head start on it. these cartoons are awesome. nice break from the realistic stuff. so keep 'em coming. i'm loving it. :biggrin:

oh yeah, I just can't seem to get the interior right....I've tried and erased....tried and erased....I still can't get it....oh well practice makes perfect :loser: lol

Here is my attempt. I havn't drawn in a while, but this inspired me to pick up the pencil again. I'm sick, so i got nothing else to do anyway. Well, I looked at this tutorial earlier yesterday, and then sat down that night and put one together. It is an older Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. It wasn't supposed to be, but thats what it looks like. BTW you guys like the side mirror? You'll have to hang out the window and look down to see in it :P. Lemme know what you think.

hey good work on the toon....I don't think the Black outline looks bad at all(maybe because I put them on most of mine too!....Try Inking the rest of the car and you'll find it will look better....and for the mirror...I could see it now....some homie with his seat leaned all the way back...one hand over the steering wheel and has to lean out the side of the car to see in his side-view mirror.....You have just started a new trend lol :uhoh:

the tutorial make it seems so easy to do, and I am glad the final exams are over maybe I can be productive in this holiday.

but somehow I think I will have a hard to to decide how to "twist" the car in the drawing..

how about angle view from the left front?
