My son lost my keys and I bought a new keyfob on ebay. I do have a second keyfob but the plastic is broken and I wanted a new one. The instructions that came with the new one are for a Tarus and talk about setting the PINS under the left rear corner panel. I don't know how to program this new remote. Does anyone have any info that mught be helpfull? Thanks

After reading a little more on these borads I ran accross a few post talking about looking in the trunk. I went into the trunk removed the control panel which has the keyless remote module and found this CODE everyone speaks of. The only thing I see is, there in no where to input or pins to switch to this CODE. These remotes have no pins. There must be a process that needs to be done to get them into "programing" mode. Anyone know of a way to do this? Thanks again for any help in this.

It should just be female connector with 2 pins inside it......get a paper clip and touch both of them with the ignition turned to acc and your locks will cycle....press any button on the keypad and it will program it. Turn key back off and it will exit programming mode.

the two pins ar part of a femal plug attach to the side of the black box in rear driverside panel in trunk. the instructions stated earlier are good ones to try
