I'd get the leak checked and confirmed. A vehicle can leak from a lot of places; hoses, radiator, waterpump, intake and headgaskets. The 3100's are famous for the intake gasket leaking coolant and if that is the case you are looking at about 300 -400 dollars Canadian. I've heard of head gaskets leaking but havn't come across one. Head gaskets do cost a lot more, I' say in the region of 600-800 dollars.
Good Luck.

Hi this came from Consumers Digest web site Coolant leak: Some cars mysteriously lose coolant because of a bad seal on the pressure cap of the surge tank. (1992-94) although it says 92 -94 it may be worth checking out on yours as well. Hope I helped out airbooster
