George's friend Lou says a clogged EGR tube actually gets 2-3 mpg better.... for some oddball reason. Either way...... im tired of bad milage. Wheres my leftover 10mpg DAMNIT!.... Phil P.S. If worst comes to worst. (2 weeks from now).... I'm going to the dealer. Yea.... you heard me. The dealer. THE DEALER. Or so help me god....... Originally posted by ricecube77 George's friend Lou says a clogged EGR tube actually gets 2-3 mpg better.... for some oddball reason. I think Lew is wrong. Originally posted by ricecube77 P.S. Most of the techs are totally clueless. You'd be better off to find a decent independent mechanic and take him the stuff from SE-R.net by Andy Radin. howard_w13 12-06-2001, 11:52 AM Originally posted by ricecube77 Before O2 sensor - average 20mpg. 2 weeks ago.... new o2 sensor and oil change - 25mpg ! Know of any good G20 mechanics or such? :) -P P10DET 12-06-2001, 06:21 PM Originally posted by ricecube77 How do i check for Gas Leakage :) With a match of course. :) I'M KIDDING! I think if you had a leak, you'd know by now. That was supposed to be a joke. But check the ground under your tank just to be sure.... without the match. :p Originally posted by ricecube77 Hm...... George likes to speek in theeerrrdd persons!... haha j/k. No, George likes to speak as three people (he's schitzophrenic). :bloated: Originally posted by ricecube77 Know of any good G20 mechanics or such? :) Besides me (since I'm not for hire)? :D I'm totally unfamiliar with your area. You could try Scott's over on the Katy Freeway that I posted about before. Other than that, I can't help much. ricecube77 12-06-2001, 11:25 PM Gonna try one more tank of gas. No leakage uunder my car........... Anyways...... if this tank is under 25mpg im going to talk to my dad's mechanic from Auto Ho. Yea..... i know the name is iffy. But whatever.. Asian Mechanics are good.......... for asian cars. Right? ... Unless they're like me.... -P ricecube77 12-07-2001, 02:07 AM George, fix my car. Thx. I give u sucky sucky 5 dolla. Me wuv u long time. :bandit: A380Driver 12-07-2001, 07:43 PM Uhmmm just curious...but are you sure that u got the new O2 sensor hooked up properly and there are no ECU codes? Sometimes its like simple things...i know ive done simple mistakes more than once :) :) ricecube77 12-08-2001, 01:45 AM How do i check ECU codes? How do i get to ECU anyways? -P A380Driver 12-08-2001, 01:57 AM Well you have an ECU :) its the "brains" of the car...it sits on the floor by gas pedal behind the panel on the right of that. You can do a search about how to get ECU codes on here, or on the SE-R archives. FlossinPrimera 12-08-2001, 11:25 PM Take your car to a Nissan dealer, they tend to screw you less than Infiniti dealers. ricecube77 12-10-2001, 04:14 PM How would i go about taking out the ECU? Do i do it with the car on? (To see the lights and diagnose el problemo)....? Thx! -P.... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
