Anyone got any ideas???, thanks. -The Stig- 10-07-2003, 02:05 AM :eek7: Well, this being the Muscle car forum... I'm sure somebody will chime in about throwing in a chevy V8 or something like that. But before you get bombared with random posts go to the Honda section and ask there. Honda/Acura (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=740) Happy Trails. EDIT: You want more torque? Then I've got one word for you: Jackson Racing Supercharger... ok so that's three words. But it gives the car great low end responce compared to its stock counterparts. Musclecarclub 10-07-2003, 04:39 AM Definitely the wrong forum for this question. Beau390GT 10-07-2003, 10:00 AM HONDA as in Hang On Not Done Accelerating? Do they make horse power and torque for them? Well my suggestion as just a spectator on the whole import thing is big stickers and a bunch of lil stickers all over it adds HP as well as a big fart can on the back.. plus take the hubcaps off the wheels so just the black shows. 426 10-28-2004, 02:32 PM throw on a huge wing and one of those furnace like exausts.......lol SamBlob 10-28-2004, 11:36 PM On a slightly more serious note, will an Accord 2.2L engine fit in it? 65Ponchoboy 10-29-2004, 09:44 PM umm are you illiterate or somthing he said this is the wrong forum to be posting in about rice so take you and your questions to the honda forum were atleast theyll give u some apprecication cause your deffintley not going to get it here SamBlob 10-30-2004, 11:28 PM A question was asked and I am trying to make a suggestion. I'd make a suggestion to you too, but I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate it. Matthias_ 11-11-2004, 10:05 PM i think the dude came in here to ask cause most muscle car guys know their shit (although definitly not all) and most old car guys have been around long enough to know what works on car and what doesn't. Im almost positive the Ex's came with a sohc v-tec. one of the first things i would get would be the apex'i v-safc. it allows you to control when your vtec comes on. also...get cams, and of course intake and exhaust. a bigger throttle body too would help. i'm pretty sure also, the v-tec's don't respond well to boost (as oposed to other engines) but i think that only makes a difference in the "big" hp numbers. oh well...hope i could help SamBlob 11-12-2004, 07:08 PM You like hornets' nests, don't you, Matthias? Matthias_ 11-15-2004, 06:00 PM haha...i'll admit i do like making fun of ricers, but if i can help a fellow car guy i'd be happy to (while still getting in shots here and there)...even though an import wouldn't be my choice of a car to get, my friends are into them and i pick up things here and there....so just passing on what little knowledge i have. mustang67n 11-15-2004, 08:08 PM umm are you illiterate or somthing he said this is the wrong forum to be posting in about rice so take you and your questions to the honda forum were atleast theyll give u some apprecication cause your deffintley not going to get it here woa woa woa stop the rice hating here bro. as defined clearly, at www.ricehatersclub.com to which i am a proud supporter and member of, ricers are not IMPORTS they are any kind of car with stuff put on them to make people think there car is fast. hondas can be very fast and can , in my book, be muscle cars. as i define a muscle car as ANY car with a strong look and an even stronger motor. therefor this guy is in the rite by me and i did and will again stand up for him. in case YOU are illiterate he is asking YOU a muscle man, as i am assuming, to give him help. in my book this is giving you GREAT respect and you should instead of giving him crap give him help. anyway for the honda guy i would add a better flowing exhaust(not ricer fartcan please) and perhaps a supercharger they add great hp/tq if you tune the car rite neway good luck on gettin the power you want p.s. i would also consider selling it and buying a rear wheel drive car or a 4 whell drive truck MrPbody 11-16-2004, 09:15 AM No Honda has ever been, nor will ever be, a true muscle car. Not enough cylinders... They lack about 4... Muscle cars don't "buzz" at WOT, they ROAR!!!!! BLU CIVIC 11-16-2004, 09:27 AM ummm yeah...but i think ur best bet is to build up the engine and do a homemade turbo set-up (go to www.homemadeturbo.com and www.d16turbo.com for info on that)...guy on another forum did the same thing and is runnin mid 12's...you could do a swap...IMO if you want a sleeper setup...build up and drop in a JDM H22a...but there are a lot more choices if u want to hear them all... you have about ALOT of different engine choices to choose from and on each choice you can either turbo, supercharge, go NA, or n2o...i've seen on tv where a guy dropped a small block 350 in his CRX, a NSX engine fitted into the rear of a CRX, and a V6 Acura Legend engine put in a 92-95 civic...just barley......but the setup are endless and there is power that can be made easily, just not as cheaply D series swaps: JDM D15B - 125-130hp D16Z6 - 125hp D16y8 - 127hp B series swaps: B18A1 - 130hp B18B1 - 140hp B16A1/A2 - 160hp B16A4 - 170hp B17A1 - same as B16A1, slightly more torque B18C1 - 170hp B18C5 - 190hp JDM B18C - 210hp ITR JDM B18C - 180hp GSR JDM B16B - 185hp Civic Type R engine B20B/Z - 126-146hp (more tq) H series swaps: H23A1 - 160hp H22A1 - 190-195hp JDM H22a - 200hp K series swap: JDM K20A - 220hp K20A2 - 200hp K20A3 - 160hp K24 - not sure Frakinstein swaps: CRVtec - B20 bottom mated with a B16 or Vtec B18 head - most net gains out of any stock setup LS Vtec - non-Vtec B18 bottom mated with a B16 or Vtec B18 head Mini-me - non-Vtec D series bottom mated with a Vtec D series head - not a very reliable set-up IMO that's about all i can think of right now...if you want more info visit the Honda forums vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
