I will be getting a '81(?) Malibu soon and it has the 3.8 Liter V6 in it. I was thinking of putting a V8 in it and I was wondering what I would have to do for engine mounts? Does the V6 have different mounts and if so can I get some for a V8 or will I have to make my own?

its pretty simple to do, all you have to do is pick up some V8 motor mounts, then after removing your old mounts put the new ones in the farthest forward possison. This will have 2 bolts inthe top and one in the bottom of the bracket with the bottom part of the brackets whole closest to the front of the car hanging over the front cross member and not bolted to the frame.
