I have a 96 escort LX and coolent fumes are coming out of the vents. My question is where do you bypass the heater. Is it the 2 rubber hoses at the firewall?? Can someone please explain it to me....
Thanks in advance..

It is the two hoses by the firewall.
If you disconnect them at the firewall side and connect them both together with a joining piece.
This will stop all fluid entering the heater matrix inside the heater unit of your car.

After disconnecting the hoses do I need to cover the heater core with plugs or just let it be??
