Anybody have news on U.S. RSX Type - R?Doodler 7 09-29-2003, 09:15 PM I am a Type-S owner and wondering if anybody has any current news on a Type-R version being brought over to the U.S. Also, from the previous thread I read about RSX Type-S vs S2000, how about RSX Type-R vs S2000, which car would finish faster assuming all conditions and shifting are equal? And check this out: http://64.207.145.150/cybernationmotorsports.com/vid/rsxstageII.mpg Anton 09-29-2003, 10:16 PM Well hopefully the 2005 might bring the rsx type r but thats a while from now, but the s2000 is still faster then the type r, although i hate the s2000 interioir its still a nice car, but i prefer my type s XenonVX 10-07-2003, 02:49 AM I doubt if the Type R will show up anytime soon. The Type-S trim seems to go along with Acura's high performance line... I don't see how the Type R will fit. All car manufacturers have a theme, and Acura's is the Type-S. I could see the RSX Type-S getting beefed up a bit to include the parts of the Type R, but still being called the Type-S. I guarantee that is more likely to happen. Anton 10-07-2003, 05:12 PM i heard they might bring type r is 2005 mabye or they could just add more hp to the type s, better suspenstion, handling, barkes and you got a better car then the type r. type r is only 20 more then type s, not much of a difference, few bolt ons get you that 94tegRS 10-10-2003, 12:50 AM but dont type r's usually include better overall braking/suspension/etc... Anton 10-10-2003, 10:53 AM ye thats what said ChicagoK20 10-17-2003, 02:00 AM Well hopefully the 2005 might bring the rsx type r but thats a while from now, but the s2000 is still faster then the type r, although i hate the s2000 interioir its still a nice car, but i prefer my type s yea, the type r is pretty likely.. and the new model of rsx's are supposed to be introduced between 04-05 too. its gonna be sweet. i love my rsx.. but the s2000 will always be faster. plus they are commin out with the S2200... so the type r better be pushing close to 250-270 if it wants to keep up with the s2200 vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
