I own a 1997 GMC Jimmy. My airbag light stays lit all of the time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

The SIR module has seen a fault in the SIR system and has stored a trouble code to help with diagnostics.
I would recommend taking it to the dealer or a knowledgeable technician.
