would it be better to be an integra gsr or to buy another version for a much cheaper price then do an engine swap? Im lookin at a 94-96 integra. Just wondering what would be better to do for speed and performance?

just buy a GSR. It would be alot easier doing that then buying a lower model and swapping in a motor.

do you have a clean record, if so go integra, if not find out how much cheaper a LS would be than a GSR. its 2900 for the GSR engine/tranny/ecu. if you wanted to have taller gears for freeway driving and didnt mind searching for a GSR ecu/harness then a longblock is only 1799. wiht the savings of the LS vs. GSR and the price of insurance, the swap might pay for itself very quickly.

or you could buy a 92-95 civic hb for as cheap as $2000 and swap a b18c1 in there. you'll be a half second faster than the integra body

I like hatches but not nearly as much as integras, and I know it isnt my car but I wouldnt give up the way better styling (IMO) just for a hlaf second unless I was seriously into racing and money was at stake.

swapping a B18C1 in place of a B18B wouldnt take much time at all.

First off, what do you mean by much cheaper? It all depends where and who you buy from. If you go to a dealership, it will be more expensive thanks to, The Fast and the Furious(supra prices went up several thousand a pop after that movie). They know all the kids want GSRs, so they'll take advantage. Look around, don't buy in a hurry, my friend did, now he's stuck with a 9,000 debt and wishing his cams had 3 lobes.

I know what you mean there, I got my teg for 7700 bucks, it was a RS very clean, I/H/E lowered/ 17's, strut bar, system, combat bumper. I turned around and sold it for 8300 which i thought was good cuz I made a bit of cash, now after those damn movies(although i do like them, well the cars in them) I cant find oen nearoly as nice for re,motely that cheap around here.
