96 240sx front end conversion to 97-98jafowler49 09-22-2003, 05:42 PM Does anyone know how much it would typically cost at a body shop to convert a 96 front end to the 97/98 style? Suislide 09-22-2003, 08:35 PM why would you waste the time and money to get a body shop to do it and rip you a new asshole price-wise? get the parts for it, and do it yourself! they bolt RIGHT UP! the chassis was not changed when the car was re-designed, all the mounting holes are in the same place. klohiq 09-22-2003, 09:46 PM :iagree: plus then you can say "I did this" rather than "I got this done"...people respect it more and especially with something that easy you shouldn't waste your time getting someone else to do it. Just make sure to keep the body panels you remove in decent shape and you can sell them to a zenki lover like myself. If you can get a kouki bumper and front quarter-panels that are painted the same color as your car then you won't even need to bring it to a paint shop after. I would also reccomend calling a Nissan dealership and ordering a chin spoiler..it makes the front end look a lot better IMO... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
