someone should attempt to put this in their 240. it is pretty cheap.

i would rather use that in an s12 silvia (US 200sx se v6, '88-'89). you can pick one up for like 1400$, i'm not sure how easy the swap would be but they came with the vg30e, so mounting it might not be that hard. if it were straight forward i may have done this instead of buyin my 240.

part of my point. the 200sx v6 with the vg30e weighs in at 2975lbs. the 300zx tt comes in at 3400+. i'm not sure how much weight you would add with the vg30dett but i think that car would move pretty nice. to bad i can't find out about the swap. besides thats the kinda car i would have on the side totally striped out for saving weight. i've seen performance parts for this car too, it more swap type stuff (brakes off a z32 and such) but it still works.

that's because the 200sx weighs 2700 lbs with a ka. it adds about 200 lbs additionally from the engine.

the BODY of the 300zx weighs about 3200 lbs. this has nothing to do with the engine...


i wouldn't mind a 3000 lb 300hp car,.... would you? (well of course i wouldn't, i just bought one :p )

it would be cool in a 24sx though.

id say it world be more trouble than its worth its heavy and apparently Rebuilds on them cost an ass load.

theres a car on meggala that has this swap and it looks pretty cramped inside the engine bay.
