this is just a question to anyone who upgraded there wheels so i can prepare for mine, i just wanna make sure.

i got a 98 accord ex v6 and all my tires need replacing so i bought 17x7 rims and i bought 215/50/17 tires from tirerack. but tirerack called me this morning to tell me that the wheels may not fit just by bolting in and i may have to bend the fender lips in the rear but they couldnt confirm such a thing.

i just wanted to know if anyone had to bend there fender lip to put in 17" wheels.

thanks.

You should be fine with that size tire, but you never really know until installed.

Is your car lowered?

if offset of those rims is +42mm and higher you should be fine. if its lower you might need to roll fender lips.
