I have been thinking of putting an ls head on a b20 block, and i was just curious, what kind of compression/power that would yield, also wouldnt it be the same thing if i just bored out my ls motor to 84 mm, also does anyone know the average price for a complete B20 block.

Any help would be great, thanks

I'm not really a big fan of vtec, I have a turbo ls right now, and I just want a bigger motor, I have heard that the ls head has different cams, and possibly other differences, and that you can get substantial Hp&Tq increases from this swap, but i'm not completely sure thats why i asked, thanks.

Ya, I know, I was thinking about that too, I asked about it in the original question, but if I did that I would have to buy pistons also, and I was just going to get a b20 block and a Block Gaurd, but i have looked around a little bit and the b20 is pretty expensive, so i'm probably not going to do it anyways.

Well you would have to get the b20 block sleeved as well to boost anything over 8psi. The b20 block is the same thing as a b18b block bored out. The cylinder walls are to thin for FI on the b20 unless you sleeve it.
