n00b question- 2002 Civic head light question.thEmaCHInE 09-15-2003, 01:47 PM I just got a 02 Honda Civic EX yesterday and I have to replace the left side head light bulb. Its a tight fit but i was able to get to the head light but when i gave it a pull the cable just disconected and the light bulb was still in the head light. I have taken them out of 01 Accords and the light bulb just comes right out, pretty easy. My question is how do I get the bulb out of the head light? I didnt get a manual and just ordered a helms manual. But that wont be here for a week or so and wanted to replace my bulb, has anybody dont this ? thanks for your time, I know this is a n00b question so be easy with me lol. thx esp 09-15-2003, 02:18 PM first off never would have bought a 7th gen (01 and newer) civic cause they suck, they have so many problems with everything. but there is a metal clip on the bulb i believe that holds it in. btw if u wanna know the problems with 7th gens let me know thEmaCHInE 09-15-2003, 10:21 PM thx , I found the clip and it came right out. BullShifter 09-17-2003, 02:22 AM You should have taken it to dealer if under 36,000 miles, its still under warranty - including light bulbs & even wiper blades if you bitch, they must be Honda blades samething with the light - no warranty on goofy aftermarket headlights. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
