GM fuel pressure regulator Qillinoiswronski 09-12-2003, 11:10 PM I am investigating a rough idle / random engine dies problem on a 99 Olds Intrigue with the 3.5L. I was looking at the IAC valve but in removing the IAC from the car I may have found a different problem. When I disconnected the vac line from the FPR to the TB, I noticed fuel in the vac line. I verified that a small amount of liquid gasoline will come out of this vac line when I pressurize the fuel rail (by turning the key to RUN) if the line is disconnected from the TB. It is a VERY small amount of gasoline, but it is repeatable. I think this is abnormal behavior as the gas must be getting through the FPR's internal seals, but I need someone to confirm for me as the part is $80 and takes 4 days to get. TIA. this was originally posted on the oldsmobile page, but I have clarified the wording a bit. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t134899.html vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
