Sorry if this has been posted up before, but i was wondering if anyone knows if you can bring a New Clio V6 to the US? I would REALLY want this car, but i don't know if it has to undergo US conversions or anything like that. Has anyone done it before? If so, please post you experience. Thanks!

Only people I heard about (Peugeot 206 S16, Peugeot 406 Coupé, Citroën C5, Renault Safrane, Alfa 147 GTA) having a car not sold in the USA, have no American plates. That concerns mainly Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Renault, Peugeot and Citroën.
Alas, if you want to import a Clio V6, it'll be very difficult and costly. First of all, a Clio V6 cost in Europe (the Clios are sold in South America, but I don't know if the V6 is sold there) about 40 000 €. Add about 1 000 € to import it from Europe, and at leat 4 000 € to modify it in order to follow the American laws. Almost US$50 000 for a Clio V6 begin to be costly, overall with all these problems (import, time lost, problems with the dealership, insurance, Renault warranty, etc.).
It's certainly possible, but you've to LOVE this car and have much money to lose, in order to get this car in North America. Alas, Canada and USA are the only one courties where Renault is not sold. :( But They will return in the US before 2015 for Renault and 2010 for PAS-Peugeot Citroën and Alfa Romeo. Regarding Maserati, they just re entered the American market. Not a bad new ! ;)

There is a person that owns a clio V6 in the US. He is the owner of a spark plug company (I can't remember the name at this moment) and uses the v6 as a show car. its pretty sweet - triple tank NOS system and (of course) ignintion modifacations. I read in some mag that it gets 300hp

Then that guy has to give up some of the reliability. The car clio's only had 285. I understand that he uses nos. But the engine is just not strong enough...

nology is the name of the company.
if you go to nology.com you will see that they are selling them for around 40k moddified.
but not in the us. daamn it!!
