I just got back from the Fox Chevy Dealer by my house and I saw the coolest car ever. It's called a Z Sport Cavalier the only thing different about it and the ls sport coupe is it has Ground effects, custom spoiler, and custom dual exahust... the price is also different. It's about 23,000. Has anyone else heard of this car? And does anyone know how much it cost to put G.E's on i don't think its over 5 Grand. Let me know if you've heard of this!

yea, it's the 2003 Z24, but doesn't have a z24 engine-just the 2.2L ecotec. but it's got the Z24 looks, alloy wheels, spoiler, ground effects, usually 2dr, but some rare 4dr's. now for ground effects, i'm confused by your Q. to buy ground effects depends on the brand, styling, and number of pieces. typically they cost between $500-600. then u have to get them painted to match the color of the car, and putting them on the body of the car can be done by yourself-or body shop who will prolly charge u.

That is not exactly like it but its as close as u can get.
the only difference is that it has like custom decals custom dual exhaust and a custom spoiler.

I don't think that this is anything that Chevy has truly put into production. There is no mention of this car on their website. The 2003 Z24 is not called a Z24 anymore... it's the LS Sport Coupe. Thats the name that replaced Z24 in mid 2002. This is the highest model Cavalier that you can buy. They stopped making the 2.4 motor in '01 and you can only find it in a handful of early production model 2002 gm cars. I kinda wish that they kept the Z24 name instead of LS Sport Coupe, but they are the same car. The only idea the chevy has been toying with is the Cavalier 220 Turbo (a tricked out turbocharged LS Sport with the ecotec) and unfortunately, it doesn't look like it will come to fruition because the Cavalier is done after 2004 and will be replaced by the Cobalt.

I have a Z sport cavalier

What exactly are the specs on your Z Sport?? Because I have a 2002 Z24 (Last year the Z was badged on a Cav), and I have the 2.4l 150HP engine in mine.. I'm curious to know what the Z Sport actually is and what it has underneath the hood since the 2.2 Ecotech took over the 2.4 engine, and the LS Sport name replaced the Z24 badge...

Its the same motor and specs. They only added on visual things sucks as the graphics, bodykit, rims, tires, fake dual exhaust, and a spoiler. Other then that everything is the same. I am lookin to sell mine in the near futre possibly around summer time 05

such cars have been named SS and Z sport are also know as dealer rice... they throw a bunch of extra shit on there to sell inventory and make a quick buck... this is also true for these so called Z22... get the idea..

^^^So true..It's a decent looking car, but the only time I ever saw anything beyond mid-2002 that was badged a Z24, was exactly the 2003 Supercharged version of the ecotech that you just posted...I don't know why they feel they need to put that badge on it, when they could have very easily just put it out on the market as a SuperCharged Ecotech...That may have actually got people's attention better.... Too bad it never really made it into production...
