Does anyone know how to program the keyless entry for a '95 Pontiac Trans Sport. Bought from a friend and it was sitting without a battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You shouldn't have to i got the same vehic. I put in the bat. and it worked right a way is it the right remote???

Battery is new and in right. The van had been sitting for about 3-4 months with a dead battery. From I've heard, with it being dead that long, it would lose its programming.
