My car is not accelerating as much as it use to. by this i mean when im in first gear the rpms go up to fast and im not going very fast. maybe 10 or so and its already a 4k second gear its already at 4k and im just going 30 and third gear i get to about 40 and its at 4k and then in 5 it doesnt seem right at all. im in a 96 civic ex manual trany. but i mean i can feel that it doesnt pull as much as it did. do you guys have any idea what is wrong?

Sounds like your clutch is going out. Seems to be slipping and you dont wanna keep driving it like that or it will get worse. I may be wrong but have it checked out. Hope this helps.

how many miles do you have on it?

i have 141000, and i do a lot of city driveing if that makes a difference.
