I have not looked for the filter yet, but plan on changing it soon. Would someone be able to tell me where it is located, it'll save me a little time. I am assuming it is probably near the gas tank, that is where the filter was on my old Lumina.

Its actually located under-hood on the fire-wall. Little black canister with 2 lines connecting.

The firewall is just the back of your engine bay. If I remember right, the filter is right next to your battery. Your battery is is in the back passenger side corner right? If it is then it's right next to that.

Firewall is what seperates the engine bay from the passenger compartment. Fuel filter is located left side - make sure to replace the copper washers when replacing. Release some pressure by removing the gas cap because when you remove the bolts its gonna spray. Put a rag over it or wear safety galsses. Its a good idea to replace the FF atleast every 60K - I change mine about every 30K becasue its simple and cheap.

Proper maintenance is key
Get yourself a factory repair manual from www.helminc.com & follow the maintenance schedule. Its recommended for a reason & the manual will walk you through each step, even pictures:bigthumb:

1 more thing(common sense) Dont smoke when working with the fuel system
