The best carb is the Qjet that came on it. Anything else is asking for trouble. If in doubt, Edelbrock has a listing for the unit, as a replacement. Trying Holey (misspelling is intentional) or whatever is risky. What is wrong with yours? Is it the correct Q-jet? If so, it is likely repairable. I have repaired most of those I worked on with simple reaopir parts, frequently without overhaul. Ray
