I found a black connector, but there are only 12 pins in it, not 16. Which pins should i jumper? tman 08-27-2003, 07:13 AM Ok. I have some instructions here, I'll scan them later Sandvik 09-16-2003, 05:49 AM Ok. I have some instructions here, I'll scan them later I got some instructions from those who sold the remote control. Goes like this : 1. Turn ignition switch to OFF. 2. Jumper ALDL Connector terminal A to G. Door locks lock and unlock. 3. Press UNLOCK button on one transmitter. Door locks lock and unlock. 4. Repeat step 3 using other transmitter. If only one transmitter is beeing used, go to step 5. 5. Disconnect jumper from ALDL Connector. We have tried to jumper terminal A to G, but nothing happens.... Does anyone of you know why? Any ideas? Thanks! Sandvik tman 09-16-2003, 07:08 AM I'm having the same problem with my 94, sorry I havent scanned my instructions, I completely forgot! Sandvik 09-16-2003, 09:11 AM I'm having the same problem with my 94, sorry I havent scanned my instructions, I completely forgot! Hi tman! I checked with an another mechanic, at a GM (Saab/Opel)company. He said that my programming instructions was OK for a Buick Park Avenue 1991. And he told me that I should try to put the ignition key in the Radio-position, not the Off-position, I did so, but no luck, so I went to my regular mechanic and asked him to connect my ALDL-connector to his computer. He programmed the computer to fit my car, and he got a message saying something like "no errors reported" so the connector seems to be working... If I am able to solve this problem I will let you know how. Thanks! Well, I dont have a 16 pins connector, mine has only got 12 pins. Maybe the 1991īBuicks exported from USA to Europe was different from the Park Avenues in the US. However, I solved the problem by moving over the cicuitcard with the radiotransmitter from the old remotecontrol to the new one. I also moved the tape vith the three contactplates attached. Well my remote is working perfectly now ! I know that this is not the right solution, but my remote is working OK Thank you for youre help Regards Sandvik vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
