Horn sounds intermittentlyRoccoT 08-21-2003, 11:02 AM Also very sensitive to touch. Blows when making turns. ANy ideas, besides pulling fuse. -The Stig- 10-01-2003, 02:40 AM sounds like a loose wire or connection somewhere in the steering column? -The Stig- 10-01-2003, 03:08 AM but, who knows....? -The Stig- 10-03-2003, 01:33 AM not sure what to say... Donald Duck 10-03-2004, 06:57 AM Exactly the same problem... on a '93 3.8L but at 35k miles it was the opposite....hard to trigger the buttons on the Y of the steering wheels. At 90K miles it turned into an embarassment. Donno how many times I've been stuck in traffic with no place for the guy in front to go...and I brush my hand over either of those two buttons and BEEEEP. I've gotten good at pretending to wave at some vehicle off in the distance. I suspect the contacts are mechanically closer than they were when the car was younger. But I haven't taken things apart yet to find out. After I replace tie rods, struts, and figure out what my rattle/clatter is upon acceleration then I'll bother with the "touchy" horn. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
