can i put a 91 tbird engine in a 94 mustang??

Ok i was just wondering if any of you know if i can put a 91 Thunderbird engine 3.8 L v6 engine into a 94 Mustang.... that takes a 3.8L v6 engine....
now the mustang has an electronic distribitor....

so can i swoop distribitors and make the tbird engine work in the mustang??...
