installing shocks?whiteracer 08-18-2003, 06:38 PM I'm in a desperate need to get some new shocks and i was almost convinced on getting the koni yellows. when i bought the car it already had lowering springs (Neuspeed Sport) but the guy never bothered to upgrade the shocks. Buying these shocks at a local shop isn't a problem, but i was wondering if installing them myself would be? I'm not a total idiot, i can change my brakes and exhaust system and stuff like that which is a simple remove and replace, but are shocks any harder or should i just pay the extra and get them installed there? 94civic 08-18-2003, 07:42 PM i'm pretty sure you can do it yourself. just go at it and you'll figure it out. BullShifter 08-19-2003, 02:46 AM Shocks are easy to change if you have access to a good spring compressor, not some junk where you use a couple clamps. Atleast I wouldnt use that kind.
