2001 Sentra GXE, stock (for now).

I've been noticing some weird sound coming from the left front tire. Almost like scrap sheet metal clicking/rubbing on the wheel as it turns. Took it to the dealer, they said they couldn't find anything. Usually happens after braking relatively hard. Anyone else have this problem? This is really pissing me off as it sounds pretty rediculous and you'd expect a really old car to do this, not a 2001.

Do you here it when you take sharp turns? If so it's a cv joint. If it doesn't matter if your turning and you here like a chattering kind of noise than it could be the brake pads were not glued. when you hit the brake hard it is leaving pressure on the pads and there floating back and forth. If thats the case, gluing the brake pads should stop the noise and make braking smoother.
