Honda's advertising schemeThepeug 08-12-2003, 11:38 PM Kind of a weird question, but has anyone noticed that Honda has changed their advertising scheme lately? I hardly every see them advertising their cars anymore. Now it's all about motorcycles and lawnmowers and onboard motors and crap like that. It's like Honda is trying to convince the consumer of its diversity and size. Any comments or ideas? BullShifter 08-13-2003, 01:32 AM Honda doesn't need to advertise cars. It's like Honda is trying to convince the consumer of its diversity and size. Any comments or ideas? :iagree: lots of people(not anyone here i hope) aren't aware Honda makes other stuff besides cars & motorcycles. Hudson 08-13-2003, 10:12 AM Honda still advertises its cars. I see the ads all of the time. The ads you're talking about are for "brand marketing." It raises the awareness of the company, not only its individual products. GM, Ford, and DaimlerChrysler do this all the time. Toyota does it as well. Thepeug 08-13-2003, 11:55 PM Ok, makes sense. Thanks guys. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
