I noticed the 2003 base-model Linear outputs 175 HP and the higher trims output 210 HP. What are the differences between the 175HP motor and the 210HP one?

Are the internal components different, or just the amount of turbo boost?

Which market? (country)

On the markets I know Saab has no 175 and 210 hp engines, but they have 150 hp, 185 hp, 200 hp and 250 hp (Aero) engines. And for 2004 they will come with a 220 hp engine I believe.

It's the US market and it's the new 9-3 sedan.

For Linear:
Engine(s): 2.0L I4, 16 - Valve, 175 @ 5500 Horsepower

For Arc and Vector:
Engine(s): 2.0L I4, 16 - Valve, 210 @ 5500 Horsepower

OK

Turbocharger, fuelinjectors, camshafts, clutch, electronics, and flywheel, maybe something more, but I think that was most of it.

There are also rumors talking about a new twinturbo V6 engine with 250-300 hp.
