are these rims any good?mjshort18 08-07-2003, 06:53 PM are adr rims any good? or eagle rims? mjshort18 08-07-2003, 06:59 PM also what do the numbers for the tires mean such as 205/40r17? thanks 94civic 08-07-2003, 08:02 PM 205 stands for the width, 40 is the profile or the height of the sidewall, r is the speed rating, and 17 is the size of the rim. 91lxdreamer 08-09-2003, 01:09 AM r is not the speed rating, r stands for radial. The speed rating is found somewhere else on the tag. If its a 205/40/r17 most likely the speed rating with be z or v if a crappy tire. I work at Perfection Tire, I get asked this all the time. mjshort18 08-09-2003, 09:31 PM ok thanks, but still has anyone heard of or own any adr rims? i have seen them on ebay and was just wondering if they were worth the money. thanks BullShifter 08-17-2003, 11:06 PM mjshort18 08-18-2003, 03:09 PM thanks alot that is what i was looking for. also are the adr rims light or are they going to be pretty heavy? thanks again. BullShifter 08-18-2003, 11:49 PM Each model wheel will have a different weight. I would contact ADR http://www.adrwheels.com/ for specfic weights on the models you are thinking about. How about these :::: not for a civic but they would cool on something...http://www.adrwheels.com/sfImages.large/59.jpg mjshort18 08-19-2003, 12:10 PM those are pretty sweet. thanks alot for your help vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
