Bumping sound under my Tahoe tahoeowner 08-05-2003, 10:32 AM
I have a 2002 Tahoe. Lately there is a bumping sound coming from underneath. I can feel it in the steering wheel and on the pedals when it does it. I notice it when I'm slowing down or am turning after I slowed down. It sounds like it's coming from the front drivers side around the wheel. I only notice it when I'm going less than about 30 mph. It's probably doing it at faster speeds, but I just can't hear it then. Any idea what this could be? lmnmarang 08-06-2003, 07:59 PM take it to a chevy dealer your intermediate steering shaft needs to be lubed tahoeowner 08-07-2003, 08:16 AM Thanks, I did that yesterday and that's exactly what it was!
