Hello, can anyone help,

Car -
525i - 1991

Fault -
Car runs fine apart for idle surges, automatic rough through changes, motor sometimes nearly stalls on throttle off.

History -
Car always ran fine until it got a tank of fuel with water in it.
The fuel system has been all cleaned out, injectors tested and cleaned.
Filters replaced, fuel pump replaced.
Air valve has been checked.
Everything appears to be OK.

Has anybody got any helpful ideas?
Your help would be much appreciated.

how is the fuel pressure regulator? what's the fuel pressure like?

Yea, getting that checked now, someone else suggested the same thing.
