It's about $1150 every 6 months, so that like $2300-$2400/year. I got a few tickets a years-year and a half ago, that caused me to have higher rates. Also, the old company I was with I got all kinds of discounts, since my enitre family, grandparents, etc, my throught that agent. But when I got hit bu some jerk, they saw my modded my car was and dropped me, so I had to find new insurance. That in itself raised my rates a little, since I didn't get all the discounts anymore. wheel1856 08-04-2003, 07:35 PM 92 VX, comprehensive coverage, piss poor record, 24 yrs old, on mom and dad's plan: $84/month. Used to have good student discount, in college, then graduated, rate stayed though....not sure. (the 94 ex I used to have got me in a lot of trouble I was addicted to v-tec, now I think the VX is the same car and drive as such, not so much, but it'll still get you a ticket.) jameskersten 08-04-2003, 07:36 PM $99can a month 21yrs old 93 civic si zigen 08-04-2003, 07:43 PM 24 yrs old 99 Civic DX hatch I share a policy with my brother so I pay half of $337.87 a month for I believe 5 months for a 6 month policy. If you let them total it out, make sure you keep all the stuff you have into it. It'll give you a headstart if you decide on a new ride, though I do hope it gets fixed. Miataracer is right, it's a nice clean looking little hatch. leolo007 08-06-2003, 04:55 PM yeah, I was thinking if they give me money to fix it, I would probably use that money the buy another civic and swap all the parts. There is no pic that I can use to show how bad it is, for some reason it just doesnt show. 00CivicEXnwbe 08-06-2003, 06:47 PM $114 a month - 8 months a year 27y 2000 Civic EX Still financing so I gotta have full coverage plus $50,000 liability. Well, it kind of did. But it really didn't, cuz insurance found out a year later anyways, and up went rates. Kinda got screwed there. But go figure, that company messed up my CLUE report with fasle crap so much, no one wanted to insure me, but I spend 3 months and cleaned it up, so now it's correct. And all is good again, well, mostly:bigthumb: Dons92CivicVX 08-07-2003, 05:55 PM Whazup fellas? Ok, it looks like I'm the 'ol man here, seeing as I'm 35! On the positive side though, my rates are pretty low. I have a good driving record, married, home owner, two cars, and work for a manufacturing company, so I qualified for New Jersey Manufacturer which has great rates: 1) 1992 Civic VX 2) 35 (man I'm frickin old!) 3) HS is but a distant and fantastic memory... I pay $420 a year...
